aurora ‘24 (2025)

This buoy was inspired by the many, many aurora borealis were got to witness in 2024. Including the Smiling Face Moon that happen the past year.

Also, this buoy take place in the winter setting, to preview my upcoming children’s book.

Beneath the starry stars (2024)

This year’s illustration showed my love and wonder for our star constellations.

Mainly, the following star constellations are seen in the northern hemisphere, where the Lobster Trap Tree is located.

Storytime in the Stonington Jungle

(2023)

The Stonington Free Library asked me to illustrate their annual buoy for this collection.

This piece shows my love and passion for the search-and-find books I had throughout my childhood, and I was happy to have it set in my childhood library. This buoy got to take place in the Buoy Scavenger Hunt and be an interactive exhibit in their library.

Whatever floats your boat (2023)

This Boat Parade illustration was inspired by the boat parades, as well as the unique vessels that have come upon the Mystic River.

There are many hidden images on the buoy, including a scene based on my chidren’s book “1, 2, 3 The Castles I See”.

Catch of the Day (2022)

I designed and painted a buoy for the 2022 Lobster Trap Tree in the Stonington Borough.

I based my design on some of the characters from my first picture book, "A Beach Chase", and my love of illustrating different kinds of sea life.
